Romance Film Festival An evening to remind us why love stories stay with us long after the credits roll. BFI Southbank transforms into an intimate cinema sanctuary for a carefully curated night of romantic cinema spanning decades, cultures, and styles. The programme opens with a rare 35mm print, followed by a panel discussion featuring a novelist, a film historian, and two special guest filmmakers who explore how romance has evolved on screen. Between screenings you'll find candlelit nibbles in the foyer, a community love-letter-to-cinema installation, and live acoustic accompaniment to a classic silent-era romantic short. Whether you come as a couple, with friends, or solo - this is an evening that celebrates connection in its finest form.
